Zero Plastic Day

Zero Plastic Day

As you know, our world is overflowing with way too much plastic and while we do need some plastic in our lives, too much of it is landing up in the oceans and is littered across the earth. We try to make the children at Ohana International School aware of how we can all take care of the earth and follow this each and every day, when we place garbage into different bins according to plastics, burnable, food waste, tins and PET bottles. We are going to be following CNN's incentive with their  ZERO PLASTIC DAY on JUNE 8th, 2018.

How can we all contribute to making the day a ZERO PLASTIC DAY? We can all not use any plastic that day. ZERO PLASTIC. We are asking all of our families to be mindful about what they send to school for snack and lunch and how they send/pack snack or lunch on that day. We trust that we will have NO PLASTIC that day, in our entire school. What a huge contribution we will be making to take care of our earth and the oceans.

We too can make a difference.
